The internet is awesome! there are a lot of people who use it for the wrong reasons but on a good note it allows me to keep in touch with you. I will be away from the office for most of the month of July but it does not mean we canot stay in touch easily.

Just to let you know of a few things coming up. 

We have youth camp from July 28-August 1 in Panama City beach Florida. 

We have a fund raiser for the camp on July 11. It will be a family movie night. we will have donations at the door for the movies and we will sell pop-cor, drinks and candy. e will have a raffle as well. All who work it fill get to use that money to help with the camp fund.

We have several mountain and beach retreats scheduled for the rest of the year for each grade group.

we are proud to be hosting KJ-52 on September the 20th. Tickets will go on sell in August.

Will have more info on these events by Tuesday of next week.

it is a lot of work. We deal with a lot of personalities that conflict with each other. Pastoring is not always a rose covered love fest. Being a Pastor is not dealing with perfect people Pastoring is dealing with people who are far from perfect but who can only get closer to perfection the closer they get to God.

Christian life is a life long pursuit to be like God in word, thought and deed. It is not always an easy life but a Pastor can help guide the way. Your Pastor is not your boss, we can only offer Godly principles but you have to act on them. The Word of God is full of commandments but we so often treat them like suggestions, picking and choosing the ones that we can adopt for a while.

To get all that you can from your youth Pastor do the following...

1. become a student of the Word of God

2. become a Worshiper of God

3. DO the Word of God

4. become a servant of God

5. give your youth Pastor lots of cool gifts and money. JUST KIDDING BUT REALLY YOU CAN.

Just kidding on that last one. A PASTORS GREATEST GIFT FOR A PASTOR IS TO SEE THAT THOSE UNDER HIS CHARGE ARE DOING AND LIVING THE WORD OF GOD.

It is official !! We have a new CONTAGIOUS! room. Congratulations to the youth for the upgrade that they have received.

We are currently taking applications for our 2008 Summer Camp. We will once again be traveling to the white sandy beaches of Panama City Beach Florida. The camp is from July 28- August 1.

The cost is $200.00 which includes food while at camp, room and travel. We need you to put down a deposit for the camp, any amount will reserve a spot. We only have room for 75 this year and we space is disappearing fast.

We had an awesome time last year and we are looking forward to an even better camp this year.

More games, More Friends and more of God!!!
